PANDORA STATION STATUS REPORT by Bram Peeters
====================================================================
The story
===========
The USS Odyssey is still docked at Pandora Station, and the month
started with the investigation of the attack on the station's FO.
(note: if there is something important missing, please inform the CO
ASAP)
=/\= Captain's log, stardate 2390.12.07 (last month) =/\=
At first there was no trace of the offender, but one of the station's
SFI officers found a recording which showed that the FO of the
Odyssey, Lt.Cmdr. Sarin, was in the turbolift together with Kroynian
just before she was attacked.
=/\= Captain's log, supplemental (September 2002) =/\=
Luckily, only minutes after the Odyssey FO was confined to quarters,
it was discovered that the evidence had been tampered with, and Lt.
Commander Sarin was innocent, but the real culprit could still not be
identified. The 'real' attacker on the recording turned out to be a
character from a holo-novel.
When a few hours later a security officer was found murdered near the
station's primary computer core, traces of holographic activity were
detected, and the holographic systems were taken offline for
investigation. Taking down the holographic systems had not the
intended effect however; an 'evil' AI was able to take over the
station's computer and holographic systems. A staff meeting with the
Pandora and Odyssey senior crew was interrupted by a hologram, and
the AI revealed its existence, and the fact that the holo-emitters
were under its control, to the assembled crew by firing a phaser (set
to stun) at the stations CMO.
This put a premature end to the meeting, and while the AI started to
create holograms all over the station and Odyssey, both crews split
up into several teams: Part of the Odyssey crew was sent to locate
all Odyssey crew members on the space station and escort them back to
the Odyssey, while another team went to the Odyssey to secure the
ship's main computer. A team led by CEO Holmes and ASTC Ryaanax went
to Engineering to get back control of the computer and CO Janssens,
ACSO Naragona and ASTC Van Geel went to deck 90 to disable the
station's internal sensors.
Several teams are still battling the holograms in several locations
on the station, although the AI seems to be losing territory.

USS VALKYRIE STATUS REPORT by Mark van der Laan
=====================================================================
It's been a little more than one month since five Q boarded the USS
Valkyrie, looking for some entertainment to distract their bored,
omnipotent minds, at the expense of the crew. Though most of the
damage done has been restored, some of their actions cannot be
restored, such as the trauma that they left Rebecca Webb with, and
leaving Councellor Morgan pregnant as a result of one of them playing
cupid.
Nevertheless, the Valkyrie has succesfully entered the year 2391 and
is back in the heart of the Alpha Quadrant, in close proximity to
Earth, Vulcan and several other well known StarFleet worlds. With a
large party, hosted by the hologram Bahl, only recently passed, the
crew is recovering itself from things such as a night of little sleep
to too
much alcohol to sampling Bahl's cooking.
====================================================================
USS CALHOUN & DELTA ONE STATUS REPORT by Adrian Rodd
====================================================================
The stardate is 2390.11.28. The crew of the Gagarin, the Starfleet
ship from the 2240s stranded near Delta One, have been beamed to the
station's holodeck while they were still unconscious. There, they
were woken and healed in a holographic recreation of a ship from
their own era. Some of the station's crew have had to change into
mid-twenty-third century uniforms to man the holographic ship and
maintain the illusion. . .
Meanwhile, amidst numerous changes to the timeline, the crew work on
a way to send the Gagarin back to the past, thus restoring the
present to what it once was. In the new timeline, though, Dawn
Summers leads a much happier life, while Jordan Reid and John Hart
live together. . . but Yarel has experienced a shock as she discovers
she might not be who and what she thought she was, and the Alpha
Quadrant is ablaze with interstellar war. To save the lives of those
dying in a war which never should have been, and to obey Starfleet
temporal regulations, the crew must change things back. . . thus
erasing Dawn's sister and children
from the timeline, and wiping out several other changes which some
have grown understandably and sometimes desperately attached to. . .
For some, the choice is not an easy one. . .
To complicate matters further, it has been discovered the temporal
rift is some kind of living creature, under attack at the other end -
in the past - by a Klingon ship. And another Klingon ship, this one
from the altered present timeline and equipped with transwarp, has
arrived near the station. . .
Flying through the rift in an attempt to heal the creature and stop
the attack it is suffering, the crew have caused the Klingon ship
from the past to slip into the present.
With the timeline seemingly made increasingly uncertain by the
minute, and as each person on board the ship and station faces
dramatic changes to the life which was his or her own, what will
Captain Su and her crew decide? And is changing the timeline back
even still possible? . . .

USS ODYSSEY STATUS REPORT by Guido Dorssers
====================================================================
=/\= Captain's Log, Supplemental =/\=
The staff meeting with the Pandora and Odyssey senior crew was
interrupted by a hologram, the AI revealing its existence, and the
fact that the holo-emitters were under its control, to the assembled
crew by firing a phaser, luckily set to stun, at the stations CMO.
This put a premature end to the meeting, and while the AI started to

split up into several teams: Part of the Odyssey crew was sent to
locate all Odyssey crew members on the spacestation and escort them
back to the Odyssey, while another team went to the Odyssey to secure
the ship's main computer.
The Odyssey has now cleaned it's computer core by first shutting down
all incoming connections of Pandora and thereafter doing a cold
reboot, hereby effectively cleaning the computer core of everything
that should not have been present.

PROJECT STARGATE by Mark van der Laan
====================================================================
Introduction
Space, the final frontier. Or is it? In a remote corner of the Alpha
Quadrant, a new and unique project has been started. Here, in the
distant Bel System we find a new type of star base, one unlike ever
seen before. This star base, wielding the codename 'Maelstrom',
utilizes the sun's power to create a rift in space, a vortex much
alike a wormhole, for a brief period of time, allowing whatever
passes through it to travel to any part of the galaxy, or even to
distant galaxies. However when something goes wrong, the station and
its crew accidentally get transported to a distant galaxy. These
stories follow the adventures of its crew as they travel towards new
destinations, meeting new friends and encountering new foes, hoping
that their next teleportation will lead them home. These are the
adventurers of the Star Gate.
Main Characters
David Rolans:
Commanding Officer of the Maelstrom. A young terran StarFleet
officer. Though still inexperienced at being in command, he is
anything but naieve.
Captain Black:
Originally asigned to guide Commander Rolans to the Maelstrom, Black
turns out to be more than just an escort, always around to lend a
helping hand.
Jagh Ramen:
A trill with an almost immposible tranquility; Jagh is asigned as
David's first officer and tries to perform that duty at his best
ability.
Argol Manck:
A tall Cardassian with a grumpy attitude; Why exactly he got asigned
to the Maelstorm is still a mystery, but he seems to do his job well
so nobody's really complaining. Argol is in charge of station
security.
Anya Maras:
A bajoran woman who mans the science station; her knowledge seems
varied, and her social skills well developped, even though she can't
stand Manck, for obvious reasons...
Daniel Jackson:
A human in his thirties in charge of engineering. His skills are
average, but his ability to improvise more than makes up for it, and
he's one of the people who helped constructing the Central Reactor
and one of the few who understands it fully.
Doctor Ragg:
A Ferengi as cowardly as they come, yet Ragg's medical skills and
techniques rank among the finest in medical circles.
romulan:
(name unknown)
Previously:
David Rolans, a young StarFleet officer, has recently been promoted
to command the star base that goes by the codename of "Maelstrom."
The young commanding officer knows little more about it than the
station's name and is taken there by the enigmatic Captain Black.
After following the captain through a stable wormhole he discovers
what Maelstrom really is: A very large starbase, engineered specially
to generate a stable wormhole.
The freshly appointed commander and his new staff are faced with
several problems shortly after Rolans' arrival, but they pull through
and the starbase prepares for its first official mission...
However a Romulan intruder manages to sabotage the station, causing
an overload in the main reactor, resulting in the entire station
being transported to a new, unknown destination.
They are... Lost in Space!

Project Star Gate --- Chapter V --- 'Misplaced in Space'
by Mark van der Laan
===================================================================
"Sir, we're not in the Alpha Quadrant anymore."
"We are...what?"
"In fact, commander, we're not even in our own galaxy anymore."
For a moment the world seems to spin for Commander Rolans. Deep down,
he'd anticipated something to go wrong during the Maelstrom's first
day of service, but this way far beyond his wildest fears.
"Better buckle up, Dorothy," Daniel Jackson, the chief engineer
whispered aloud, "'cause Kansas is going byebye."
"Maras, can you get a bearing on our current location? Where the heck
are we?" David inquired.
"Commander... I'm not sure. The Maelstrom's long range sensors are
completely messed up and realigning themselves at the moment. It
might take a while."
"How long?"
Anya remained silent for a moment, not sure whether she should speak
up or not. "Two days, maybe three."
David was about to speak up on this when she continued: "However
short range sensors are still operational and detecting an M-class
planet nearby. Its characteristics match your planet earth's."
"Commander," Argol suddenly spoke, taking a step forward, "May I
suggest we send a team down to scout the planet? We may need to stock
up on supplies if we can't return to the Alpha Quadrant soon."
David considered the suggestion and agreed with the tall Cardassian.
Less than an hour later the away team materialized on the planet,
consisting of David Rolans, Argol Manck, the ferengi doctor Ragg and
two of the Extras: Primus Extra and his younger sister, Deuxieme
Extra.
Following Jagh's advice, they had beamed down just outside a small
town, travelling the remaining distance on foot in order to prevent
drawing attention to themselves.
The city had a lot in common with a typical terran city in the early
middleages, with a sturdy stone wall surrounding the fragile inner
section. Even the people looked very much like humans, adapting a
similar lifestyle, making David wonder whether they had somehow
traveled back in time or not.
"Somebody's approaching," Argol remarked, his tall gaze scouting the
road ahead.
And indeed someone did, and David was glad he'd decided on masking
the appearance of Ragg and Argol by having them wear cloaks, given
the population on this planet looked remarkably much like humans. Of
course they looked highly suspicious with those large brown cloaks,
but suspicious was still better than monstrous.
The person walking up to them turned out to be quite harmless, an old
man with lengthy grey hair and a beard reaching almost to his waist.
In his right man he held a walking cane, used to support his fragile
old body.
"Whatcha fer knowing, well met travellers," the old man greeted them
when he was almost with them.
"Greetings, sir, and well met," David greeted back politely, "I am
David Rolans, and these are my companions."
"Garus Malchon," the man introduced himself, "Are yer fer attendin'
The Visiting?"
"Excuse me?"
"Yer not fer being around here, eh?" the old man concluded, "The
Visiting be Argassia's prime event of the year, it be when the King
of Gods comes down from his divine home to visit er humble mortals."
"A being that descends from the heavens?" David repeated and looked
at his teammates. Obviously they had all come to the same conclusion:
this 'divine being' might very well be a member of a space-travelling
race, or at least somebody who could help them out more than this
world's natives. He returned his attention to the old man, nodding
politely: "Thank you for your information, kind sir. I think we
*will* visit this interesting event after all."
It wasn't hard to find the location of The Visiting. A great deal of
the population had already gathered on the town square, filling it
up, and even the roads leading to it were completely blocked with
people wanting to catch a glimpse of the divine being.
Luckily, the Maelstrom crew had done the smarter thing, entering one
of the buildings and approaching the square by travelling from
rooftop to rooftop, not only making it easier to approach the town
center, but also giving them a perfect view of the empty center
square.
And then it happened.
Without warning, the sky suddenly darkened and a strong breeze
crossed the city, forcing the Ferengi and Cardassian to clutch their
robes tightly to avoid being detected. Strangely enough, the wind
died down as sudden as it had appeared only moments later. Then,
without a sound, a beam of light pierced the sky, striking the ground
in the empty center of the town square. At first, nothing happened,
but then the ground split open, spouting forth steam and gasses that
hid the entire square from view.
When the smoke eventually cleared, the hole in the ground had closed
itself again and there, standing in the center was a single being.
The being was remarkably humanoid, sharing the same type of skin, but
also larger in size, measuring approximately three metres in height.
Whatever clothes he was wearing were concealed from view by a large,
heavy robe as black as the night that covered his entire body, save
his face. The figure looked male, and human, his face decorated by a
welltrimmed black goatee. on his head he wore a dark crimson cap, and
from both sides of the cap, two small red horns were visible, of the
same red color. David Rolans recognized this creature instantly.
It was the devil.
