USS VALKYRIE STATUS REPORT by Mark van der Laan
=====================================================================
USS VALKYRIE STATUS REPORT - 2152.05.23 (originally 2391.01.05,
(supplemental))
Trapped in the past, the USS Valkyrie has been engaged by a swarm of
Suliban cell ships. With the help of a passing Starfleet vessel of
that time period, the Discovery NX-03, the Suliban were driven off,
however not before boarding and stealing the Valkyrie's Bottom
Module.
With another segment of the Valkyrie in hot pursuit of the Suliban to
reclaim it, the other segment remains behind to assist the injured
crew of a damged Discovery, an action which could quite likely damage
the timeline beyond repair...
The Middle Module has succesfully caught up with the hi-jacked Bottom
Module and boarded it with more Suliban ships closing in to secure
their prize. To make matters worse, the Suliban have found Bjorn
Eresford's shuttle from the future that was stored in the Bottom
Module and are threatening to blow up the Module's warp core as well.

USS CALHOUN STATUS REPORT by Adrian Rodd
=====================================================================
It's shore leave time for the valiant crew of the USS Calhoun and
Delta One!
Of course, since this is the Calhoun, you can't expect it to all go
well. . .
Between a renewed Kazon threat against the station, and a dangerous
attempt at sabotage against the ship, committed by an obscure group
of Talaxian renegades, the crew have had their hands full trying to
keep ship and starbase in one piece for once.
To crown it all, Ensign Dugall decided to take the law into his own
hands, assaulting and detaining Talaxian suspects, disobeying the
captain's orders, threatening and coercing prisoners, and generally
adding to the chaos situation. . .
Now, as shore leave draws to an end, and the crew gather to celebrate
Lieutenant Hart's birthday, the mayhem fades away. . .
. . . or does it really?

USS ODYSSEY STATUS REPORT by Guido Dorssers

==============
STATUS REPORT
==============
The USS Odyssey is in orbit of Emyn III while Engineering has shut
down the warp drive.

=/\= Captain's Log =/\=
During the flight to Emyn III the USS Odyssey was intercepted by a
shuttle that originally had been on course for Pandora Station. The
shuttle had the freshly graduated Ensigns Elizabeth Peck, a new ACMO,
and Dacs Helfrump, a new AOPS. Additionally CMO Lieutenant Victory
was ordered to leave with this shuttle by Starfleet Command for a
transfer.
After picking up Commander Logix the USS Odyssey was ready to warp to
the Normanian Nebula to start it's mission of scientific exploration.
Unfortunately the warp core had been shut down for maintenance...

PANDORA STATION STATUS REPORT by Bram Peeters
=====================================================================
Around 1015 a crewman detected a weird energy reading near the sixth
planet of the Sitol system. Rachell Delari tried to analyze this
reading, but it had already disappeared. As both the alien species in
the Sitol system are pre-warp, Naragona and Delari were dazzled by
this clearly artificial phenomenon.
Naragona went to report this to the CO and FO, who in turn decided
that an away team would be send out to investigate. Commander Sarin
would lead the away team and he chose Lieutenants Ryaanax and
Naragona and Ensign Roberts to join him on that mission.
While the members of away team were preparing themselves for their
mission, a new officer arrived at Pandora Station: ACEO Ensign Menk
Shulti.
At 1400 Commander Sarin, Lieutenants Ryaanax and Naragona and Ensign
Roberts went on their way to investigate the weird energy reading.
The trip towards the Sitol system was uneventful and went smoothly,
though some tension evolved between the two Science officers. Just
before their arrival though, Roberts came up with the idea that the
energy reading could have been a cloaked vessel. But as this was just
a hypothesis and not proven, Sarin chose to continue the mission.
Unfortunately, Roberts appeared to be correct and as soon as the
Flyer approached Sitol VI, the away team got placed into a strange
white room, on the alien's base on a moon of Sitol VI, by some sort
of transporting device that went straight through their shielding.
After a little time in the white room, a strange alien appeared
before them, though it was only a projection. The alien was
Sub-General Selar and from what the away team could hear and see,
they had no real hostile intentions... so far. After talking for a
while, the alien agreed to release the away team from the containment
room and give them a tour of their ship. Even though the alien's
mission was still remaining a mystery, small parts were being
disclosed from time to time.
The aliens, members of an ancient race, were monitoring certain races
in the universe. They are strongly telepathic and control the whole
ship by thought. They however kept skeptic about the away team and
are, of course, not telling them everything. By a single thought, the
away team could be placed back into the containment room on the moon
base. The situation is under control for the moment, but could get
out of hand at any time... when the aliens have had enough of the
away team... or when the away team finds out more then it should...
Meanwhile on the station, the disappearance of the away team and
their Delta Flyer was detected, and Captain Janssens instructed
Commander Holmes to prepare the USS Epimetheus for a rescue mission.
This could be done quite fast because the Engineering department had
already started preparations for the normal warp test flight of the
ship.
That test flight proved to be necessary when the Epimetheus should go
to warp: the warp-engine failed. The engineering department was
unable to find the cause or a fix for the problem, so the Epimetheus
saucer section was prepared for separation. Commander Holmes would
lead the rescue mission, while Captain Janssens and ACEO Ensign
Johnson returned the remaining sections of the Epimetheus back to
Pandora Station.
While the Epimetheus was flying towards the Sitol system, the crew
analyzed the sensor data collected by the Delta Flyer, and the
long-range sensors of the station, and they came to the conclusion
that there might be a cloaked ship waiting for them in the Sitol
system.

INTERSTELLAR TRAVEL GUIDE – BENZAR by Clare Bradley
=====================================================================
The Planet Benzar is a strikingly beautiful world. Located in the
Alpha Quadrant in the Securis System, Benzar became a Federation
Member in the year 2369. It is the only one of the nine planets in
the Securis System that can support life. The inhabitants of Benzar
are known as the Benzites.
What makes Benzar so special is it’s atmosphere and landscape. It is
the perfect destination for the budding Geologist or Meteorologist.
Benzar is classified as M-Class, barely. Benzar’s atmosphere is high
in gaseous ammonia, and low in oxygen. Most humanoids require
life-support suits to explore the surface, but it is well worth the
inconvenience. The sky is violet colored, with blue and orange
clouds. Periodic lightning discharges fill the sky with light, and
create thunderclaps so loud that you can feel the vibrations in your
bones.
Benzar’s landscape is dominated by complex crystalline rock
structures. The Benzites create crystalline sculpture that has
received high praise from the UFP Institute of the Arts. The most
renowned Benzite sculptress is a woman named Candar. One of her works
adorns the foyer to Federation Hall in San Francisco.
Benzar’s ecosystem is also unique. The animal life on Benzar is
generally small, with armored skins. Both carnivorous and vegetarian
animals are found here. Even the plants have tough skins.
The Benzites show an eagerness to please, that sometimes comes off as
annoying, or as superiority. To the traveler, this trait ensures a
pleasant trip.
So the next time you’re in the area, stop by the Securis System, and
Beautiful Benzar.
