Stardate 2391.04.26
The Nurmarhi are ordered off of the Odyssey so that the department heads and
the three newcomers to the Odyssey crew can debate on whether to trust this
enigmatic alien race. Many opinions are shared, but the consensous seems to
be that the aliens can't be trusted.
Captain Bennek orders that the collaboration with the Nurmarhi should
continue anyway, and the meeting almost ends. However, 2O/CEO Paul Velden
falls drastically ill, starting to show symptoms of what the Nurmarhi call
the "Tarr". CMO O'Gallagher beams out with Velden to sickbay, and the
existence of this Tarr seems to be verified, in the most deadly way
possible.

Stardate: 2391.04.30
Science and Engineering teams are finishing their joint modification

Something all the crew is eagerly awaiting. As we have already begun to see
the first stages of boredom set in in the form of streaking amongst the

Pandora Station Status Report, November 2004, by Rob Versteegt
--------------------------------------------------------------------
(]Summary[)
By Rob Versteegt.
Stardate 2391.05.02
While the USS Solstice tried to retrieve the Venoghrian Probe, the remaining
crew on Pandora received a call from a Dholari agent, saying that he wants
to beam over, and that whatever Rhan M'ell had told the Pandora crew, wasn't
true. Puzzled by this statement, Captain Kane allowed the Dholari Agent,
with the name of T'hims, to beam on board. Once the Agent had beamed over,
he told Kane, Truesdale and Tek, that the Venoghrians were a ruthless race,
who were going to use the probe's data to get an advantage in the war which
was going on between the Dholari and the Venoghrians.
On the Solstice, in the mean time, some of the Starfleet Officers and
Venoghrians boarded the modified Flyer, so that they could now enter the
Star's corona, to retrieve the probe. However, when the tractorbeam to
tractor the probe out, was in place, there wasn't enough power to hold up
the modified shields and the tractorbeam at the same time. Commander Jalando
decided to cut power to the probe, thereby destroying the probe, but saving
the lives of the crew on the Flyer. Rhan M'ell however, didn't like this at
all. He blamed Jalando for all the valuable data which now had been lost.
When the Solstice finally returned to Pandora, Agent T'hims and Rhan M'ell
finally met... and immediately had an argument. Both blamed each other for
the destruction of the probe. This argument resulted in Rhan M'ell leaving
Pandora Station, while T'hims stayed here. Agent T'hims will now be brought
home by Starfleet.

USS Atlantis Status Report, November 2004, by Ben Versteegt
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Stardate 2391.04.19.
Still under control of the three mysterious hijackers, the Atlantis hovers
above Ogawachi Prime. Despite the hijackers' claim that their Creators are
alive on the planet and need medical attention, the crew cannot find any
evidence of life signs on the planet. In fact, upon closer inspection, the
planet seems to have been lifeless for quite some time. The team that is
sent down to the planet finds the crashed shuttle of their shipmates and
with it some valuable information about the virus that apparently plagued
the inhabitants so long ago. They also discover a ruin, half swallowed by a
giant chasm.
The hijackers are finally convinced to take the Atlantis lower into orbit
and to give back sensor control to the crew. They are a long way from giving
back control of the entire ship, but it is a start. But the advances
Commander Torn and Ambassador Von Klinkerhoffen make in their negotiations
are minor, and the hijackers begin to loose patience, while refusing to
accept that their Creators are dead. On the surface, the team there prepare
to descent into the fault-line in search for answers -- but will those
answers convince the hijackers that their Creators are gone? And if they do,
will they return control over the Atlantis back to the crew? Or have they
other plans with the ship? Find out next month...

PR Status Report, November 2004, by Rob Versteegt
--------------------------------------------------------------------
It's like a trend or something: we keep getting signups of less quality than
the month before.. :'( Okay, there are some good signups this month, but not
nearly enough as we'd like... Still, we'll just make the best of it.. and
I'll keep advertising everywhere. And of course you can help by putting
banners on your website (You can find the banners at
http://banners.frontierfleet.net)
Well, let's get on with the report. This month, there were 16 signups. Where
did they find us?
4: Unknown
2: Just browsing the web
1: horseland.com (Thanks Sussie!)
3: Search Engine
1: startrek.pagina.nl
5: through a friend
Again, like last month and the month before that, there were some double
signups... so actually, there have only been 12 signups this month. Not
really a lot. Anyone has any ideas increase the quality and the quantity of
the signups? If you do, please mail me at pr at frontierfleet.com! (And don't
forget to vote! ;-) )

It appeared as if the alien device which had sent people to the past, was
just a simple box to show outsiders what life before the Cardassian invasion

ready to explode! With risk to their own lives, Cadets Ritarin and Schofield
tried to get rid of the device, by dumping it in a shaft. Everybody expected
an explosion.. but there came none. And the box, nor remains from it, were

Commander Peters' and Lieutenant-Commander Callahan's teams have returned
successfully to Talax through the portal after their first exploration
missions, albeit with a few bumps, bruises and unpleasant experiences.
Captain Tugg's team remains on its away mission, compelled by an alien
society holding two of its own to somehow destroy another world's portal.
Tugg, Sarin, Hequill, Harris and the others, stepping through the portal
onto a mountain slope on a new planet, discover an underground tunnel and
begin trying to find out exactly who lives there...
JULY: Stardate 2391.04.09
-----
As the crew slowly returns from thier seperate away mission a short peace
ascends the ship. Tugg leaves and Captain Sarin is temporarily re-instated.
Dawn rescues her children with an added propostion to join a group of Bounty
Hunters known only as the Agency. After a short battle Qar dies of his
injuries. Meanwhile the USS Calhoun goes to investigate an unknown ship that
has emerged from the transporter only to find itself under attack. Heavily
outarmed the USS Calhoun is quickly damaged and left floating in space as
the Borg suddenly appear and capture the alien ship dragging it away. During
the battle Captain Sarin is injured and left in a coma and Commander Peters
killed. With two out of three of the Command staff left the Calhoun is left
in disarray.

----------
The Calhoun has left Delta One and returned to Earth for repairs, a full
review of systems efficiency, a report on the transwarp core's performance,
a complement of new crewmembers, and shore leave for the crew. After an
uneventful trip, the crew beamed down to various locations on Earth... only
to find themselves mysteriously whisked into the past a few minutes after
arrival. Now, over six hundred people are scattered throughout Earth's
history... and it rests upon John Hart, former Calhoun crewmember, now
visitor from the future as captain of a timeship, to set things straight.
Hart has already retrieved Captain Sarin from early twenty-first century
North Korea, and explained to her that the accident was the result of a
time-travelling outlaw who intersected an artificial subspace rift with the
Calhoun's transwarp drive, permeating the crew with a time displacement
effect that was then activated by the transporters. Hart and Sarin have
teamed up to find the rest of the crew, and are presently in sixteenth
century Scotland, trying to prevent Ensign Jamison from being burnt at the
stake as a witch! Meanwhile, other crewmembers adapt as best they can to
their new surroundings...

USS ODYSSEY
=============
Stardates: 2391.04.14, 2391.04.15, 2391.04.21, 2391.04.26
---------
JUNE: Stardate 2391.04.14
-----
The race to get Head Nurse Kylie to a starbase has come to a screeching halt
with the Odyssey crew unable to get the ship under control. The group on the
holodeck has managed to make contact with the bridge, and found out that the
RMS Titanic's movement is linked to the ship: when it is moving, the USS
Odyssey is moving. Captain Bennek orders the RS Titanic to slow down while
they try to discover a way around this predicament, slowing down the Odyssey
as well.
The paradox facing the crew is that the longer the RMS Titanic continues its
journey, the closer the trapped crew on the RMS Titanic gets to meeting
their fateful end, including the Odyssey members on board.
JULY: Stardate 2391.04.14
-----
Events on the USS Odyssey and the RMS Titanic have both hit a climax; The
RMS Titanic has hit the iceberg, but the USS Odyssey bridge crew have
managed to make it to lifeboat no. 7, where they will soon depart their
doomed ship, and the program will hopefully come to an end soon.
Simultaneously, the USS Odyssey has managed to collide with a rogue comet,
causing severe damage and increasing the risk to Nurse Alvas considerably;
with no warp drive, the Odyssey has no chance of getting her to safety.
AUGUST: Stardate 2391.04.14 - 2391.04.15
-------
As expected, the program of the RMS Titanic ended after the gigantic steamer
had sunk. Control of the USS Odyssey was automatically routed back to the
Bridge after the program ended and now the crew of the USS Odyssey is in
control of their own ship again. The Bridge crew on the RMS Titanic has
safely left the holodeck and are back at their positions once again.
However, all was not well yet. With a gap in its hull, the USS Odyssey was
not able to go to very high warp. This would make the ship arrive at
Starbase 12 later than expected, and that might have been too late for Nurse
Alvas, who was still in coma. Luckily sensors picked up another ship, but
they were not responding to hails, probably due to damage to the USS
Odyssey's tranceiver array.
Two containers of antimatter were ejected and detonated to send up a flare
in an attempt to attract the attention of the other vessel. Incidentally,
the resulting explosions knocked the tranceiver in place, which made it
possible for the other ship to hail the USS Odyssey. The other ship, the USS
Caduceus, was sent by Starfleet to pick up Nurse Alvas; medical experts were
waiting on the USS Caduceus to examine her and to devise a cure.
SEPTEMBER: Stardates 2391.04.15, 2391.04.21 & 2391.04.26
----------
With the assistance of the USS Caduceus, a medical ship, Alvas Kylie was
safely transported to Starbase 12 for treatment. About a week after the USS
Odyssey was assigned a new mission, which better suited the ship's designed
purpose.
A KPS starcluster near the Federation's borders needed studying, and the USS
Odyssey was given the task of doing so-with a unique pulsar double star that
was about to fuse. However, shortly after the ship arrived and began their
study of the sector, an unknown alien vessel arrived and hailed them, urging
them that they were in mortal danger. Captain Bennek invited them onboard,
not knowing the aliens but also knowing that he needed to know precisely
what this danger could be...
OCTOBER: Stardate 2391.04.26
--------
The aliens, known as the Nuhmarhi, have come to warn and to try to protect
the USS Odyssey. According to them, the crew of the Odyssey might have been
infected by the Tarr, a disease that kills its victims in an unpleasant
fashion if not treated. Initial scans on Bennek, Denebris and Sellser, who
is privately dealing with another medical condition, unbeknownst to most of
the crew, confirm its presence in them, and for the moment, steps are being
taken to determine its presence in the rest of the crew.
NOVEMBER: Stardate 2391.04.26
---------
The Nurmarhi were ordered off of the Odyssey so that the department heads
and the three newcomers to the USS Odyssey crew could debate on whether or
not to trust this enigmatic alien race. Many opinions were shared, but the
consensous seemed to be that the aliens could not be trusted.
Captain Bennek ordered that the collaboration with the Nurmarhi should
continue anyway. Just prior to the meeting's end 2O/CEO Paul Velden fell
drastically ill, starting to show symptoms of what the Nurmarhi called the
Tarr. CMO O'Gallagher beamed with Velden to sickbay, and the existence of
this Tarr seemed to be verified in the most deadly way possible.

The sickness brought aboard by either the Romulans or the Borg has begun
spreading. For this reason, as well as the recovery of further Borg data, has
prompted the CSO to redirect to the Bertreka nebula. As Pandora Station is
directly along that course, a stop has been included as well which will no
doubt leave the USS Valkyrie a very different vessel.
JULY: Stardate 2391.04.25
-----
The medical staff of the Valkyrie managed to both diagnose and cure the
unknown ailment affecting the crew by the time Pandora Station was reached.
Although it is possible some lingering side effects may be lurking about,
with the frequency most members of the crew seem to appear in sickbay, they
won't go unnoticed for long. Though not all the crew was lucky enough to
come out of the ordeal unscathed. The still recuperating Captain was once
again removed from active duty. Along with the first officer. Both are to be
transferred to Pandora Station and then on to specialists on Betazed. The
sudden gap in the command structure, along with the recent expulsion of the
Acting Second Officer from his home service prompted StarFleet in it's
infinite wisdom to push forward the application for officer training made by
CSO Maiek. For whatever the real reason, the visiting Romulan was not only
accepted into the Federation on equivalent rank, but also given a field
promotion. On reaching the station, a new captain will be transferred in to
shoulder the full weight of command.
Elsewhere, our recently de-borgified guests are eagerly awaiting their
respective futures. Some expecting to return to their past lives, some
wishing to rejoin the collective, and lastly, some wishing only death. The
counseling staff will have it's hands full clearing them for departure, but
with the help of the local therapists no substantial problems are expected.
The remaining drones not falling into the 'easily classifiable' category are
another story. The Orion known as Nasiva has expressed a strong desire to
retain her 'super powers' and not be altered by the doctors. It remains
unclear if she desires to rejoin the collective or just live as a
disconnected drone. For the moment the doctors have cooperated, removing
only her transceiver nodes which would otherwise provide a link back to the
collective. While Carrie, the younger of the two, has been given only
limited data regarding her previous existence. As such she is taking
somewhat longer than the others to return to her individuality. With time,
and a steady diet of Federation counseling, they are both expected to make a
complete recovery.
It should also be mentioned that the visiting Tyksonian ambassador has
departed back to her home planet with no doubt some interesting stories to
tell. Even after assuring her repeatedly that daily life in the Federation
does not include almost getting assimilated and attacks on the senior staff,
it was indeed a test in non-interference to allow her to return home knowing
that her own take on the situation may have been biased. Biased, of course,
in that she was actually there to experience it.
AUGUST: Stardate: 2391.04.25
-------
The evil Borg worshipping Kotarrani are causing trouble again. This time by
abducting passengers from the USS Valkyrie. Luckily their ambition was far
beyond their experience and with only a moderate amount of effort their
plans were quickly foiled StarFleet.
It remains to be seen exactly what happened on the fleeing Borg vessel
before they were stopped, but if the Kotarrani were not assimilated it can
only be because of their detrimental effect on the collective's perfection.
It also remains to be seen if the USS Valkyrie's new captain will allow the
remaining Borg to retain their removable implants, regardless of their
rights as individuals, in a precautionary action against the Borg again
posing a threat.
SEPTEMBER: Stardate: 2391.04.28
----------
There is little to report thus far as we have just left Pandora station on
this day and, high warp speed limitations being in effect, have not covered
a great distance yet. However in the time it took to ready the ship for
travel once more, the new additions to the crew have had the opportunity to
familiarize themselves with their departments, and their fellow officers.
With no reports from sickbay describing horribly mutilated corpses or other
unusual instances, I can only assume that our new members are fitting in
will. Though provided they get their jobs done and nobody gets hurt too
badly, I'm quite content to leave analyzing their interactions to the
counsellors.
On a personal note, I'm finding myself more and more distrubed by the new
helmsman... woman... thing. Luckily she's the only one on board and I spend
most of our coinciding duty shifts together seeing the back of her
containment suit. Watching her face dissolve and then reform before my eyes
is more than a little disturbing. It is about as close as I care to get to
meeting a ghost. I can only imagine what it must be like for the children
aboard.
OCTOBER: Stardate: 2391.04.26-28
--------
Fighting amongst the crew happens. Whether it comes to physical conflict or
not is another thing entirely. When it becomes a ship-wide event, well
that's the stuff of status reports. It remains unclear what prompted the
altercation, but apparently it managed to polarize a good deal of the crew
behind their favorite. Not to mention split support between the two
represented departments. While it is good to see the crew coming together
for a common cause, uniting over such a barbaric display brings with it
concerns that more fights are to come. On top of which, there was no clearly
decided victor, which may lead to further deciding matches. Not to mention
increasing the subtle animosity between the two departments. One can only
hope that the entry into the nearing nebula will bring with it enough work
to halt the spread of further conflicts.
NOVEMBER: Stardate: 2391.04.30

as the Furewardo Afutso. While the USS Atlantis began to off-load the
medical supplies to the crippled Furewardo Afutso, two Dominion Scout ships
began to attack. Despite the efforts of the USS Atlantis the damaged ship is
destroyed. Soon after, a Furewardo warship uncloaked and destroyed the
remaining Dominion craft.
JULY: Stardate 2391.03.28 - 2391.04.18

The Atlantis had completed her second mission and has now been in orbit
around Tau Epsilon 4 for the dual purpose of a Planetary Survey and, more
importantly, shore leave for the crew.
AUGUST: Stardate 2391.04.18 - 2391.04.19
-------
Captain Ellie Charlile surprised everyone by departing the USS Atlantis
without warning. The crew had been enjoying shore leave on Tau Epsilon 4,
however that leave had been interrupted by a radiation leak in Engineering
and the subsequent hijacking of the USS Atlantis by parties unknown.
SEPTEMBER: Stardate: 2391.04.19
----------
The crew of the USS Atlantis found themselves hijacked by persons unknown. A
radiation leak was reported in Engineering and three crewmen were trapped
inside. Suspicion had fallen on these three since all computer controls had
been rerouted to Engineering, leaving the crew a view to the outside by
means of the External Sensors and Life Support.
The crew are working in teams to try and overcome this attack from within,
while the ship hurtles at Warp 9 towards a destination unknown.
OCTOBER: Stardate 2391.04.19

Still under control of the three crewmen in Engineering, the USS Atlantis
hurled towards it's destination: the three crewmen's home planet called
Ogawachi Prime. There, the three crewmen revealed the mission they want the
USS Atlantis crew to undertake: save their Creators on that planet from a
deadly virus. If the crew wouldn't comply, the three crewmen would begin to
shut down life support to the crew quarters, effectively killing innocent
crewmembers.
They granted the USS Atlantis crew control over the sensors and other
scientific functions, but they retained their control over the engines and
the rest of the ship's systems. The crew had no choice but to accept. When
they scanned the planet, however, it turned out that there were no
lifesigns, except for single celled organisms. In other words, there was
nothing left on the planet but the virus.
A shuttle mission sent to gather more information about the planet went
horribly wrong when Ensign Shakaar lost control of the shuttle due to a
medical condition. The two other crewmen aboard the craft tried to stabilise
the shuttle's trajectory, but to no avail: the shuttle plummeted down
towards the planet and crashed. There were no survivors.
A second away team was sent down in another shuttlecraft to find out what
went wrong with the first away team, and to finish what the others had
started. From the air, they saw a giant fault line, possibly from an
earthquake, and, once landed, decided to split up to investigate both the
shuttle crash and the fault line.
Meanwhile, on the ship, the three crewmen received the same sensor readings
as the crew did. They, however, ddi not want to accept the fact that their
Creators were gone. Thinking this was a ploy from Commander Torn, intended
to trick them, crewman Zhora in Engineering instructed Ambassador von
Klinkerhoffen to tell the Commander to give them accurate sensor data.

---------
Still under control of the three mysterious hijackers, the Atlantis hovered
above Ogawachi Prime. Despite the hijackers' claim that their Creators were
alive on the planet and needed medical attention, the crew could not find
any evidence of life signs on the planet. In fact, upon closer inspection,
the planet seemed to have been lifeless for quite some time. The team that
was sent down to the planet found the crashed shuttle of their shipmates and
with it some valuable information about the virus that apparently plagued
the inhabitants so long ago. They also discovered a ruin, half swallowed by
a giant chasm.
The hijackers were finally convinced to take the Atlantis lower into orbit
and to give back sensor control to the crew. They were a long way from
giving back control of the entire ship, but it was a start. But the advances
Commander Torn and Ambassador Von Klinkerhoffen made in their negotiations
were minor, and the hijackers began to loose patience, while refusing to
accept that their Creators were dead. On the surface, the team there
prepares to descent into the fault-line in search for answers.

STFF Song: "Crew" by Ben Versteegt
--------------------------------------------------------------------
On the tune of: "Help"
Crew
Help
We need some more crew
Help
Not just any will do
Help
You know we need someone
Help!
Before I joined Frontier Fleet not so long ago,
Whatever got me through the day, I swear I didn't know.
But now my life has changed, and surely for the best
'Cause I have found a game I like; no longer need the rest
REFRAIN:
Frontier Fleet's the one and only game for me
It's as good a game as any other RPG
>From Pandora Station all the way to Odyssey
But we reeeealy need more crew.
The game has been around for four years and a day
A little longer, but that doesn't matter anyway
We've been around for long enough to understand:
We won't survive without some posts, can you lend us a hand?
REFRAIN
The Delta Quadrant far away is where the Calhoun roams
It's full of dangers, Borg and death, but still it is their home
The Odyssey's crew is always quite eager to explore
They're meeting races, going places no one's been before
REFRAIN
The ship Valkyrie is absured, but then, so is its crew
They warp through Federation space, unsure of what to do
Pandora Station cannot warp, but surely they don't mind
If they had warp, they would be much more difficult to find
REFRAIN
Atlantis is the name of our last and year-old ship
The Gamma Quadrant is its hoome -- it's quite a lengthy trip
So now you know what I'm so very thrilled about
Just go to frontierfleet dot net, be sure to check it out
REFRAIN:
Frontier Fleet's the one and only game for me
It's as good a game as any other RPG
>From Pandora Station all the way to Odyssey
But we reeeealy need more crew.
More crew, more crew!
