Chief Editor's Notes:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
First of all, I would like to thank Bram for taking over from me, last
month. You've helped me a lot, Bram. And again this month, he helped me with
the posting stats! Thank you. Last month, I didn't have to worry about
getting all the articles in place, in time, etc. Now that I'm settled in, I
can once again try to put all those wonderful articles together. There is
only one problem...
...
There aren't that many articles. Just like last month, I might add. Come on
people! Where's your sense of creativity? Or did that all go into a post?
IDEA!
Oh, while writing this I got a couple of ideas regarding how to let more
people respond to the newspaper. Oh yes, this will be good. Mark my words.
Remember, you saw it here first! :D
Enjoy the newspaper, and remember that you can always send in more articles
to chiefeditor at frontierfleet.com. And also, my apologies for the lateness of
this newspaper...
Regs,
Rob.

LOCATION: in orbit above an unnamed planet in the Parallel Reality
Episode 26: "The Mirror Crack'd"
The crewmembers stranded on the planet begin to get organised and search for

the alternate reality take control of the bridge, and manage to return to
their own universe. There, they successfully beam down the original crew of
the Calhoun to the planet where their first lot of prisoners were stranded,
and prepare to rendezvous with their own Calhoun. Unbeknownst to them,
however, the Rebels have seized their Calhoun. . .

USS Odyssey Status Report, March 2006, by Dennis Church.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Stardate: 2392.07.07

in the neutral zone, Captain Bennek orders the Odyssey into warp, to help
the ship apparently in distress.
Unbeknownst to the crew as of yet, the ship *is* a ship of refugees, looking
to flee troubles the planet they were imprisoned on.
Unfortunately, shortly after they arrived at the location of the transport,
a Romulan Warbird decloaked. Now facing the dillemna of trying to rescue
the refugees while staring down the disruptor barrel of an angry Romulan
warbird. Will the Odyssey manage to outwin the Romulans?

USS Valkyrie Status Report, March 2006, by Jon Hardy.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
(]STARDATE[)
2392.07.12
(]LOCATION[)
Various locations within the Sirkovsky Expanse.
(]SUMMARY[)
The Valkyrie has separated into MVA mode, in order to better search the
Expanse.
Alpha Section - under the command of Cmdr Maiek - has established
communication with the Varnii, a race native to the Sirkovsky Expanse.
Beta Section - under the command of LtCmdr Byrne - has arrived in orbit of
an N-class world. Having detected bio-signatures - some of which belong to
Federation member species - an Away Team, led by Ensign Alvarez, has been
sent to the surface, where they have found the survivors of the USS Meade.
Plans are currently being made to bring the Meade survivors from the surface
to Beta Section.
Gamma Section - under the command of Ltjg Schofield - has established
communication with the Raq'hil, another species native to the Expanse and
who are at war with the Varnii. The Raq'hil Commander - General Dru'phen -
has informed the crew of the last known coordinates of the USS Meade, in
orbit of . Gamma Section, having set a course for the coordinates, is now
having to deal with a stealth mine-field in which they become trapped.
The team aboard the Brunhilde, led by Ltjg PaRel, have found the drifting
USS Meade, but no survivors aboard. The Breen had also found the Meade, and
PaRel ordered the Meade be destroyed to prevent her from falling into the
hands of the Breen. The Meade was successfully, but reluctantly, destroyed.
The Breen General ordered the capture of the Brunhilde and her crew
interrogated. A combination of luck and intellect have resulted in the four
person crew being able to escape further interrogation, and are now
attempting to leave the Dozaria aboard the Brunhilde, with the Breen data
spools in their possession.

Pandora Station Status Report
March 2006
Current episode: Under New Management
Location of the USS Solstice: Docked at Deep Space Delta One, Talax
Current date: 2392.07.07, around 0900
The away team that went to Delta One to find the missing Solstice crew
didn't have a lot of success. At first they only found some commbadges,
including the one belonging to Lt. Arquette. Then they ran into Ensign Ban
(or he ran past them) who was more interested in changing a computer console
than in returning to the Solstice.

USS Atlantis Status Report, March 2006, by Ben Versteegt.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
USS Atlantis Status Report
March 2006
Stardate:
- 2392.07.01
- 2392.07.03
- 2392.07.05
- 2392.07.12
Locations of the (crew of the) USS Atlantis:
- En route (in transwarp) from the wormhole to a stellar nursery in the
Gamma Quadrant.
- At a stellar nursery, approximately 1000 light years away from the
wormhole, in the Gamma Quadrant.
- In Deasian space, approximately 2,7 light years away from the planet
Helteka in the Andari system.
Summary:
- 2392.07.01
At the promotion party, Ensign Andrusia found the strength to tell Commander
Velden of his problems. At roughly the same time, Crewman Norman and Ensign
Ouder found two crates of Orion Whisky in Jefferies Tube 11-D. It remains
unknown who put those crates there.
- 2392.07.03
In Five For, Lieutenant Andersson, Ensign Kadar and Ensign Vil discussed
Sickbay, tricorders, and one Vulcan's behind.
- 2392.07.05
Following a reprimand by Commander Velden, Lieutenant Andersson and Ensign
Vox arrived in Five For early in the morning to get the coke stain out of
the carpet... The old fashioned way.
- 2392.07.12
Having received a distress call from a freighter convoy under attack by
pirates, the Atlantis set out to assist. The pirates, although large in
number, fled when they found out first-hand that the Atlantis was too
powerful for them. Using the Gamma Flyer Borhyas as an additional way to
defend the convoy vessels, the Atlantis was able to chase away the pirates.
The convoy had sustained heavy damage, but it was safe for now.
Aid Master Blev Traa, leader of the convoy, subsequently thanked Captain
Torn and the crew of the Atlantis for their heroic efforts in ensuring the
safety of the convoy vessels. But, he added, the convoy's defence cruisers
had been destroyed, and the convoy was damaged and many convoy crewmembers
(including several commanding officers) had been killed. According to Traa,
it was of absolute importance that this L'tari convoy reached the planet
Helteka, where it was to deliver food and medical supplies. For that reason,
he not only implored Captain Torn to escort the convoy to Helteka, but he
also requested that members of the senior crew be assigned to some of the
convoy vessels... as their commanding officers.

Public Relations Status Report, March 2006.
March is over again. Boy, how time flies. And look at how many signups we
got! 15 signups in March! A couple of them have either graduated already, or
are ready to be graduated. A pretty good month, if I do say so myself.
And again this is the time when I ask you all to vote for Frontier Fleet at
http://www.frontierfleet.net/comm/vote. We'll get even more signups then!
Anyway, here's where those 15 signups found us:
7: Plain old browsing, searching, etc.
5: Google, or any other search site.
2: Looking at the banners, advertisements and/or voting sites.
1: Unknown.
Well, there you have it. A lot of people are just browsing, or just
googling. But that doesn't mean we cannot draw in those other couple of
people by voting, does it? :P

AcadCM Comments:
Last time I wrote the Academy status report -which is about a month ago- I
wrote that that status report would probably be my last Academy status
report. Obviously, I was wrong. ;-) Martin Miller, who was chosen by the
Council to replace me, had to go on an extended LOA for personal reasons.
He'll come back in September. I'm still wondering whether to give the job to
someone else for the time being, or not. I haven't made up my mind just yet.
I'll let you know when that moment comes. Until then, I will still be the
Academy Commandant. My thanks for all of you however, still stand. Thank you
very much for allowing me to do this job. I appreciate it. ;-)

A Post to Combine All Posts. By Rob Versteegt, and several others.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
NRPG: This is just one of the ideas I've got for the newspaper... a posting
mix-up! What would happen when you'd put several posts of several
dutystations together? Well, we'll just have to see, won't we? Oh, and one
word of advise: don't expect this to make sense. :P Here goes:
RPG:
(Unknown Planet - Abandoned City - 2392.07.09, 2030)
Alastriona peered down the dim lit street and saw something rapidly moving
along in their direction. It was some sort of tapered cylinder, propelled
by an invisible force. Blue lights shone from its metallic surface. She
pointed at the object as it came into view far down the street. "There!"
The Emperor's rampage was interrupted by a flash of blue and the air
sizzling. Slowly, two forms materialized in the middle of the large,
high-ceilinged room. One was the familiar figure of General Dru'phen. The
other was a small, beardless man about two-thirds the height of the average
Raq'hil. Mordkhal thought at first it was a child, but on further
examination it was wearing what appeared to be a military uniform. The
Emperor and his chief of staff stood there, their jaws hanging open.
"Who is your leader?" asked Matuga, raising his voice to be heard in the
bay.
Now Linda reacted. "We could ask the same of you." She said, hoping that she
did not sound *too* hostile.
"I'm Commander Matuga Denebris. You're onboard the USS Odyssey."
"Commander, my patience has run out," Tugg said. "This story about officers
not having returned to your ship; Starfleet officers are too disciplined for
that. I don't know what you are up to, but this has gone on long enough now.
I am ordering you to leave at once."
He shook his head. "We're not out of danger yet, although for the moment
you're safe." He looked around, and decided this would not be the greatest
of places to question this man. "We need to know more about how you came to
be here, and why....could I speak with you somewhere more private?"
It was an evening never to be forgotten, for the first time in weeks they
had actually forgotten about their differences and just been the ones they
had each fallen in love with. The night had then later been crowned with
wonderful sex. Gosh, had it only been two weeks since that night? Felt like
a lifetime. it had been an amazing night, something she wanted to repeat
every night for the rest of her life if possible.
The bodies and the blood on the bridge was a nice change from the last time
she had been here. It was beginning to look more like their own ship with
each passing moment.
Lt. PaRel and his crew shared a puzzled look.
"Ok, turn it on again." Chris called from the back of the vehicle.
As if on cue, the fire suppression system kicked in. The smoldering spot was
soon put out, sending small puffs of black smoke into the air. The life
support went up a notch and the smoke was quickly vented. As Norman returned
to the lab Ensign Wiley appeared to be sniffing the arm of his service
uniform.
"These uniforms don't smell that great after they've been burned, do they?"
Disappointment filled Davert's voice, "I said if you have any problems that
you should leave them behind. You took an oath when you entered Starfleet
Medical, didn't you?"
"Absolutely," Colin said with certainty.
"I'm taking us back out of orbit," Jennifer told Chris, taking the helm
station despite the stinging aches and pains throughout her body. "We've got
a rendezvous to make."
"You may bring one or two companions, if you wish." Commander Denebris said.
"No." Had this been a normal situation, back on Pandora Station, Threnn
would have been surprised by a crewmember reacting that way. Now though,
here on Delta One, insubordinance seemed to be standard response. "I'm busy.
Go away."
"Why?" Nikki began "Is there something we need to do?"
"You should have the counsellor stay close by. It's going to be nasty."
"Commander Summers and a few others stormed the bridge." Chris said. "It's
been taken care of. The Commander is dead and the others have been
transferred to the planet."
"Of course. I thank you and Dr. Palder for all you have done" T'kella told
the woman, placing a hand on her chest.
He paused for a moment, thinking of the right words to say. "Sir, permission
to speak freely?" h finally said. Some doubt had seeped into his words, and
he wanted to share his doubts with Torn -- perhaps the Captain could put
those doubts to rest.
"Commander, my patience has run out, I am ordering you to leave at once."
"Uhm. . . right." Jacques spoke up, not really knowing what to do. "I don't
suppose I could convince you that this is one of my people's ways of saying
'I respect you'?"
Nikki smiled and blinked. "Sure, it's a date."
